The challenge
The manufacturing unit lacked a complete list of testing equipment required for the certification process. The process flow chart was incomplete and did not clearly describe the manufacturing activities. The shop-floor machinery had not been properly installed and arranged, leaving the overall manufacturing setup incomplete and not inspection-ready.
What we did
We worked alongside the team end-to-end - preparing every required document with the necessary technical details and explanations, helping them rearrange the manufacturing line so the equipment matched the declared process flow, and providing full coordination throughout to ensure the inspection-day documentation was airtight.
The outcome
The BIS inspector was satisfied with the on-site arrangements and the documentation presented. The certificate was granted on the first attempt within 15 days of filing - well below typical timelines - clearing the way for legal sale of potable water bottles in the Indian market.
